… of Totalitarianism in Eastern Europe," by Marci Shore.
A personal memoir that reports on what the (Jewish) author found as she traveled the tragedy drenched byways of Post-Holocaust Eastern Europe.
With interesting conversations with survivors of Stalinism from Poland to Israel to New York.
Entirely fascinating, and entirely disheartening.
And certainly makes one wonder why anyone would boast (or use as a credential for either progressive politics or left-Radicalism) of having any connection with an International Communist Party especially after the end of the Prague Spring in 1968.
