Jim Springer and Jim Lewis - Telepathic Twins??

Sorry, but you guys in this thread sound like you're scrambling to reassure yourselves that it's all okay and can be explained scientifically. I don't see a lot of arguments that make sense here. The number of similarities is just too many and too unlikely to be written off as mere coincidence.

Maybe they both like the name of the person and they have similar tastes in names. People who are siblings can agree upon that they like certain names. If you look at it rationally I also behave a lot of times like my father or have many things in common with my siblings. Also I had the similar experience with names - the first person I dated when I was a teenager(I only dated her not married her) had the same name as my wife now has and this was also a coincidence.

Also I think that there are maybe more siblings out there in the world that are not twins and have had married people with the same names. Like two brothers have had wives that are named Alice for example. Or there are also people who are siblings and named their dog with the same name. Here in Slovakia we mostly name our cats mostly Muro or dogs after some TV series. I think the name Toy for the dog can be explained also this way.

Also the children had not the same name completely:

The only explanation I can think of that makes logical sense is that there's some kind of conspiracy to commit hoax going on here. Otherwise, it's probably something we can't explain.

What then makes sense a conspiracy?? Or that the twins are telepathic?? Or they have some super-duper empathic power?? I doubt both very and extremely much. I think its only a coincidence and genes at work. Nothing more or less Eric because even the scientist Bouchard who wrote about this concluded this according to wikipedia:

In 1979, Bouchard came across an account of twins (Jim Springer and Jim Lewis) who had been separated from birth and were reunited at age 39. "The twins," Bouchard later wrote, "were found to have married women named Linda, divorced, and married the second time to women named Betty. One named his son James Allan, the other named his son James Alan, and both named their pet dogs Toy." [2] Bouchard arranged to study the pair, assembling a team and applying for a grant to the Pioneer Fund in 1981, stating, "Our findings continue to suggest a very strong genetic influence on almost all medical and psychological traits." This takes me into the account that his book about them maybe just a hype to sell it. People rather buy books about telepathy then about twin studies..

Also Eric if these two twins would be telepathic or have other paranormal powers then all other twins should have these powers but none besides some psychic fakers are reporting to have some.. Even triplets or other more born children that are like twins should have these abilities but none of them had. Therefore it is more likely that their genes and coincidence is at play here and nothing more.

Also if they would have some special powers why have they reunited at the age of 39?? They could have found themselves sooner when they had such an amazing gift, no? I also doubt they didn't knew about each other until around 39 because they were separated after birth.

Also like I posted people are fascinated with twins and always were therefore it is logical that they gave him supernatural powers. It is with everything that we cannot explain. We give it a paranormal meaning like:

We cannot explain the brain therefore there is a soul.
We cannot explain thunder Zeus did it.

Its magical thinking nothing more or less.
